Is this permanent hair straightening?
No. It's the straightest effect we offer, but it fades gradually with washing over several months rather than growing out in a line. Anyone promising permanent straightening from a keratin service is overselling it.
Is it the same as a Brazilian straightening treatment?
It's the same idea and a comparable result, but ours is formaldehyde-free. A lot of the reputation Brazilian treatments have, good and bad, comes down to formaldehyde, and we don't use it.
My hair is bleached and frizzy. Is four hours of keratin safe?
Usually yes, and it rebuilds fibre while it smooths. If your hair is severely compromised we may recommend a repair treatment first, or Olaplex alongside. Send a daylight photo on WhatsApp and we'll tell you honestly.
How long does it take and how far ahead should I book?

Will it work on very curly hair?
It relaxes strong curl and wave rather than erasing it, and it takes a lot of the volume and frizz out. If you want your curl pattern kept, say so when you book and we'll talk about whether this is the right service at all.
How do I make it last?
48 hours before the first wash, then sulfate-free shampoo, a heat protectant when you style, and dry your hair thoroughly. Rinse with fresh water before and after swimming.
Does the straighter result grow out in a hard line?
No. It is semi-permanent, so it fades gradually over months as you wash rather than sitting there as a border between treated and new hair. Your own texture comes back progressively from the roots down, which is what makes it liveable if you cannot get back to a salon for a while.
